It already seems like players are wanting to leave Saudi non effort league. Fine if you're Ronaldo and the last couple of years of your career,he is no big social chap. Can stay within his own bubble. People like Lingard thrive on a social life,can't see him having much fun there and I'm sure most of the football may bore him.

I don’t like Moyes and think he can fairly be criticised for quite a bit, including his obsession with Lingard last year where it seemed to have affected the whole window negatively.
This time round though, although I personally wouldnt have given the bloke any time, I don’t see what he’s done wrong with Lingard. He’s taken a close look and decided not to offer a contract.

Must admit when I saw those pics of him training with us after he had been with us for a few weeks he did still, for a footballer, look a bit TUBBY.

Lingard was brilliant during that purple patch he had for us, but he will never be at that level again. That felt like his final fling.
If he had signed for us again then it would have been fine, but he’d only have been a bit-part player at best anyway. If he doesn’t sign for us, who really cares?

So he was training with us for a month with the club putting him up in a plush apartment and organising a car to take him to training and back every day as he has been banned from driving and now he has apparently fucked off to Saudi Arabia to train with a club without letting us know!!
